3.1.5.6. ALIAS

The principle of operation for an ALIAS record is similar to that of a CNAME — it also copies the data of the target domain. However, ALIAS has several differences:

• A record can be added for the primary domain.
• A record can coexist with other records within a single subdomain.

Such a record is convenient to use for directing a domain to certain services, for example, Blogger, Bitrix, etc.
