3.5.2.4. Transfer of .RU and .SU domains to direct management at REG.RU

Attention!

According to clause 6.5 of the Rules for the registration of domain names in the .RU and .РФ domains, the transfer of the right to administer a domain name is not permitted:
  • If the domain name registration has expired.
  • Within 30 days from the moment of domain rights transfer from another person.
  • Within 30 days from the moment of changing the registrar supporting the domain name.

Notes:

  • You can renew the domain through the form on the REG.RU site without authorization in their control panel.
  • A domain can be transferred upon written request (detailed information).
  1. Open the "Domains" section.
  2. In the domain menu, click "Perform transfer":
  3. Fill out the form and click "Transfer":
    • "Registrar name" — REG.RU.
    • "Reason for transfer" — email of the account in REG.RU, to which the domain needs to be transferred. It can be viewed in the personal account at REG.RU.
  4. Remove the domain transfer lock.
  5. After submitting an application, contact the online chat.
