3.2.10. Domain pre-order

Important points:

  • Pre-order is available:
    • For individuals and FOPs only. Legal entities cannot use it.
    • Only for Ukrainian domain zones, except for .UA, .УКР, .LVIV.UA.
  • The service does not guarantee that you will be the owner of the domain. When the domain is free, anyone can register it with any company. We are not responsible for the fact that the domain may be registered by other users or companies.
  • The service does not transfer the domain from the current owner. It is intended only for domain buyout in case the current owner does not renew it and the domain is released.

Domain pre-order allows to automatically intercept registered domains as soon as they are released. The new owner of the domain is determined by auction rules.

  1. You place a pre-order for the domain you are interested in..
  2. Immediately after the domain goes to pendingDelete status, the auction starts (a corresponding notification is sent to your email and connected messengers).
  3. You and others who want to get this domain make bids at the auction and try to outbid each other.
  4. Bidding ends the day before the domain is released at a randomly selected time from 18:01 to 21:59 Kiev time.
  5. Immediately after the domain is released, the system tries to register it for the one who made the highest bid (if the user cannot pay for the domain, the next highest bid is triggered, etc.).
  6. In case of success, the domain will be given to the one who made the highest bid and was able to pay for the domain at the moment of registration.

Important points:

  • The pre-order itself does not give the opportunity to get the domain. To have a chance to get the domain, must participate in the auction and try to make the maximum bid.
  • Pre-order is not available for domains for which the auction has already ended, which are less than 24 hours away from release, or which are free for registration.
  1. Log in to your account.
  2. In the search field, enter the name of the desired domain and click 🔍.
  3. In the search results, click "Pre-order" in the domain menu.
  4. Wait for notification when the auction begins.
  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Open the "Domain pre-orders" section.
  3. Click "Pre-order domain".
  4. Enter the domain name and click "Pre-order".
  5. Wait for notification when the auction begins.

  2. Send a message with the name of the domain and receive a successful addition message.
  3. Confirm the operation with the button in the window that appears.

All pre-orders are displayed in the "Domain pre-orders" section under the "Applications" list:

  • Domain — domain name.
  • Status:
    • Waiting for domain release — your application is in the queue; the auction will begin once the domain's registration period expires.
    • Auction — the auction for the domain is currently underway.
    • Summing up auction results — the auction has ended; results are pending.
    • Trying to register — your application was first in the queue, payment has been successfully frozen, and once the domain becomes available, we will try to register it.
    • Domain is registered by us, will soon transfer to client — domain has been successfully registered and will be transferred to your account soon.
    • Domain registered and transferred to customer — the domain has been successfully registered and transferred to your account.
    • Auction lost — another user won the auction.
    • Payment error — there are insufficient funds on your bank card or balance.
    • Registration error — the domain was renewed by the current owner or someone else registered it before we did; the pre-order payment has been refunded.
  • Application submitted — date of pre-order.
  • Expires — domain expiration date (may be updated with a delay).

Applications that have not yet been processed and for which there were no bids at the auction can be canceled by clicking the ❌ button.

Inactive unsuccessful applications are hidden from the list after one week.

In the "Domain pre-orders" section, active auctions and auctions that ended less than a day ago are displayed in the "Auction" list. Clicking on a domain name opens its auction page.

To view the list of active auctions via Telegram, in the bot menu select "🌐 Domains🪩 Domain pre-order📋 Auctions".

Attention!

Once you bid, you will not be able to withdraw from the auction or cancel your pre-order.

Important points:

  • Bid raises your position in the pre-order queue.
  • The first bid may be equal to the cost of domain registration.
  • Each new bid must be at least 100 ₴ more than the previous bid.
  • When making a bid with a bank card, the amount of the bid will be debited from the card and immediately refunded back.
  • If your bid is outbid, you will receive a notification to your email and connected messengers.
  • Bidding ends the day before the domain is released at a randomly selected time from 18:01 to 21:59 Kiev time.
  • Notifications that the auction is about to end are sent 3 hours and 15 minutes before it ends.
  • The time until the end of the auction is displayed on the auction page to the nearest minute, and when less than 2 minutes remain, to the nearest second.
  • Bids that are placed 60 seconds or less before the end of the auction will extend the auction by 60 seconds from the time that bid is accepted.

  1. Recharge balance or bind bank card (depending on how you want to pay for the domain).
  2. Open the auction page in any of the ways:
    • Or click on the domain name in the list of auctions.
    • Or follow the link from the auction notification.
  3. Make your bid:
    1. Select payment type: balance or bank card.
    2. Specify the amount of the bid.
    3. Click "Make bid".
  4. If you receive a notification after a bid has been placed that it has been outbid, open the auction and place a new bid that will outbid the other user's bid.

Once the domain is released, the system will attempt to register it for the user who made the highest bid. If this user fails to pay for the domain, the next highest bid will be triggered, and so on.

Conditions required to get a domain:

  • Once the auction starts, you must be sure to bid.
  • Your bid must be at the maximum at the end of the auction.
  • At the moment of attempting to register a domain you must have the amount of your bid on your balance or bank card (depending on the selected payment type).
  • The domain will not have time to be taken over by some other registrar.

If your bid was not the maximum, the domain will be given to you only if users with a higher bid have problems with payment (if all other conditions are met).

If you pre-ordered but didn't make any bids in the auction, you definitely won't get the domain.
